The first day of camp is over and we are having an exciting time. We woke up this morning and had our quiet time. We read about Daniel and how he resolved to follow God's instructions on foods to eat. We all have choices to make, to follow God and obey Him or follow the things of the world. We hiked, swam, canoed, fished, shot the bows, shot rifles, made candle holders and faced the challenge course. Our rooms were inspected and all the rooms were great. Ms Leah's group won the "Clean as a Whistle" Award. After lunch Mr David Stroup led us in worship and Mr E the Magic man used illusions to share the gospel. More activities, dinner and a wild and crazy game of Capture the Flag. The Candle Bearers won but we all had fun. Mr David and Mr Stephen's groups are spending the night in tents tonight. All the groups are having Cabin time to discuss today's lessons.
